Rowan McLachlan (she/her) is a postdoctoral researcher working with the Vega Thurber Lab. She researches how environmental stress affects the physiological health and microbiome of tropical corals. She currently investigates the impacts of nutrient pollution and overfishing on the reefs of Moorea, French Polynesia. Rowan is originally from Scotland, and in her free time she enjoys hiking and swimming.
